That’s a Big Rock

This was amongst many rocks strewn around the Sundance Festival site, east of Perth. I love how the top of the boulder has its own eco system and the light played over the surfaces. I’ve been painting more and more on Cradled board, its hard surface is smooth, the sides can be left has varnished wood (as this one is) and it travels well to shows without a frame.
