I expanded my photo taking wanderings to the north near Ottawa and found these willows along the Rideau river.

Willow trees always make me think of the house I grew up in Windsor, It had a willow in front that us kids would swing from on the low-hanging branches. Willow roots love water, so often you find the trees alongside some with the roots dipping in.
