Okay, I know the name is silly, but the emotion was right there as I stood on the side of a road looking into this mass of green with layers and depths and mystery. Then it was the challenge to be able to make a decent painting out of all that green and just a bit of purple. Like all the Covid and post-covid works, I’ve taken as much time as I wanted, and it shows in the results.
