Early Spring at the Bird Sanctuary

Oil on standard canvas double framed in white wood and barnwood.

I know, it doesn’t look much like spring, but it was, the air was warm, the snow melted, and the beavers were busy trying to dam the St. Lawrence River, at least this small part of it. This is the view looking east off the bridge going over to the campground, always a worthy walk. I liked working on the long rectangle, it shows well the breath of the view.
