West Coast Shore - Oil on Canvas
Oil on Canvas
Modern Frame of Silver and Linen Wood.
Along the West coast of Newfoundland the waves roll in quietly on most summer days. The wind is constant and cool, the land is clear of debris as the winter waves have washed away any flotsam. I was on a picture taking trip with my sister-in-law, Ella, and Aunt Dorthy along the coast going up the north road when I asked her to stop for this shot. It was such a great day. Water is my favourite thing to paint, waves and reflections give motion.
Framed cooly in Silver and Linen.
