Last year we made the long drive to stay with our sister and brother-in-law in Sussex, New Brunswick. They live in the woods, literally. It’s wild and pretty and full of birch trees and pines. I caught a few early turning maple leaves against the birches. This is just one of the many paintings I’ve painted of this wonderful area.
