This is one of the prettiest paintings I’ve ever done, if I do say so myself. It’s one of the small creeks in South Dundas that I’ve driven by in my summer wanderings. Although basic colours were there, I’ve warmed the sky and trees and played with the contrast of purples and yellows. I was a lot of fun to paint, and I’m happy with the results. Rustically framed in my barnwood and wood from an old picket fence.
