Who doesn’t like the big fat clumps of snow on the spruce branches, especially when the sun sets the snow to sparkling like diamonds? The view was from my kitchen window, and I couldn’t resist capturing the magic before the sun went away. Then there was the exercise of making my vision come out onto the canvas. Fun and hard work. This painting was in a gallery in Cornwall a few years ago and has seldom been shown since then.
