I tried to show the magical moment of the neon green spring leaves against the purpling rain clouds, all reflected in the river. I often stop at this bridge in South Mountain to photograph this river, it’s beautiful from both sides of roadway, in all seasons. It had just stopped raining, everything was washed and sparkling. My goal was to get away from blue skies, which were starting to feel so mundane.
