Forest Rocks

I love big forest rocks, plopped into a treed landscape, defining, and breaking against the vertical trunks. These were next to my tent at the Sundance Festival just outside of Perth. I’ve painted many scenes of the river there and the paths through the trees and this was the year of the rocks. I love the way the sun splashed onto them.
