A large painting of a simple fence baring a path at the Upper Canada Bird Sanctuary, this scene was made interesting by the smoke haze from the Quebec wildfires that summer, the same ones that reached all the way to New York. Everything was a strange color, the lines less sharp, the distances unclear. Most of all the change was in the colors, like everything was painted with an umber glaze.
