I’ve painted this scene a few years ago. It’s along the route I take to Fantasy in the Forest Festival, a show I’ve been shown in for many years. It runs through cottage country, of course, north of Kingston, the event taking place in Jamie Brick’s Forest. Much of the water along the roads there has become weed logged and I’m wondering if it’s the increased temperatures. Still. It’s a very pretty drive and much nicer than travelling on the 401. I never get tired of seeing that red roof reflected as I drive along the boat ramp road.
